Peter Alilunas is an assistant professor of cinema studies as the University of Oregon. He is the author of Smutty Little Movies: The Creation and Regulation of Adult Video (University of California Press, 2016).

Eugenie Brinkema is associate professor of contemporary literature and media at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her articles have appeared in the journals Angelaki, Camera Obscura, Criticism, differences, Discourse, Journal of Speculative Philosophy, qui parle, and World Picture, and her first book, The Forms of the Affects, was published with Duke University Press in 2014.

Grace Aldridge Foster works as an editor, writer, and writing coach in Washington, DC. She earned her MA in English from Georgetown University in 2017.

Laura Horak is an associate professor of film studies at Carleton University. She is author of Girls Will Be Boys: Cross-Dressed Women, Lesbians, and American Cinema, 1908–1934 (Rutgers University Press, 2016) and coeditor of Silent Cinema and the Politics of Space (Indiana University Press, 2014) and Unwatchable (Rutgers University Press, forthcoming).
