Abstract

Abstract:

This article describes the process of supervision in an Adlerian peer group using early recollections (ERs) of both client and therapist. It focuses on the uniqueness of such a group and its contribution to the therapeutic process. The group is managed according to the principles of Adlerian theory, reflected in the way the group deals with the case studies brought for counseling and in the interactions among group members. Special emphasis is put on the use of the consulting therapist's ERs, as well as those of the client. This process discloses the lifestyle of both therapist and client and enables enlightening "blind spots" in the therapeutic process.
