Dr. Suwastika Naidu is a Lecturer at the University of the South Pacific, Suva, Fiji Islands. She is a multidisciplinary researcher who has specialized in two areas of study. These are (1) Management and Public Administration and (2) Econometrics and Policy Analysis.

Management and Public Administration: Dr. Naidu has done her PhD thesis on human resource management analytics that involves testing the best human resource management model in the context of the Pacific Island Countries. She has published some high quality journal articles in the field of human resource management and small business development in the Pacific Island Countries. Her recent articles on human resource management and small business development in the Pacific are published in the Personnel Review and Social Indicators Research. Her areas of research interest include operations management, finance, supply chain management, value chain analysis and human resource management.

Econometrics and Policy Analysis: Dr. Naidu has a Bachelor of Arts degree specializing in Banking and Finance. She has completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Economics from the University of the South Pacific. Currently, she is pursuing her Master of Science in Finance (Economic Policy) from the University of London, SOAS, CEFIMS (2015-current). Her MSc in Finance specializing in economic policy is expected to be completed by next year. She has published a number of journal articles in econometrics. Some of her highlighted journal articles in econometrics are published in Tourism Analysis (year 2017) and Social Indicators Research (year 2016). All of these are her single author work. Her econometrics work on telemedicine system in the Pacific Island Countries won her the Global Emerald Award for publishing the high quality paper for the Asia-Pacific Journal of Business Administration. She has also done consultancy work for many NGO's and public sector organizations in the Pacific Island Countries.

Dr. Anand Chand is an Associate Professor in the School of Management and Public Administration, FBE, USP. He is originally from the Fiji Islands. He has a BA (Tasmania, [End Page 46] Australia), Post-Graduate Diploma (USP), Diploma in Business Studies (Canterbury, NZ), MA in Industrial Relations (USP), MA in Research Methods (Manchester, UK), Ph.D. (University of Cardiff, Wales, UK). Dr. Chand has been teaching, conducting research, doing consultations and publishing for the last 32 years. He teaches both undergraduate and post-graduate courses (including MBA) and supervisors M.Com and Ph.D. students. He has published 2 books, 2 monographs, 6 book chapters, and 39 articles. Anand has also presented around 40 papers at international conferences.

Dr. Chand specializes in the areas of HRM, Industrial Relations, Employment Relations, Global Supply Chains and other areas of general management. He has extensive experience in conducting researching and doing consultancy for international agencies. For example, he has conducted research for ILO, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA), Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), EU/USP Employment and Labour Market Programme, Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF), Training and Productivity Authority of Fiji (TPAF) and Australian Council of International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) and Pacific Agri-business Research for Development Initiative (PARDI). He has visited and taught in a number of South Pacific Islands countries and is well versed in the South Pacific countries.

Ashish Kakar has a BS (Computer Science) from National University of Singapore. He has around a decade of experience in the Indian software industry. He has presented 4 papers in SAIS (Southern Association of Information Systems) and 2 papers in AMA (American Marketing Association) conferences He has also recently published an article in PAJAIS (Pacific Asian Journal of Association of Information Systems) Volume 10 Number 4 issue. Currently Ashish is pursuing MS (Information Systems) from John Hopkins University.

Adarsh Kumar Kakar is a Ph.D in Management Science (MIS track) from University of Alabama with research interest in ecommerce and theory, methods and practices of software development. He has over 3 decades of experience in the software industry and has worked as consultant for many Fortune 500 companies. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the department of Computer Information Systems at Alabama State University.
