Sighting you the world blinks on. A flick of light, and then a trellis: history arced and arcing under a clamber of rose and vine. You prohibit prior yet the world plays along. Never and Always collapse in the diamond lattice, in the rose's hip. History arcs and aches with new weight. I was waiting for you, though with no I, no was. Before you, no me. Before you now, I petal and blanch as you hedge perennial. My body synthetic, glossy from the atoms' rush to new me into noumenal. Adamant and chlorophyll, leafy and Lethe: let us delight in light and bask in asking. Endure, endure, however impure. [End Page 786]
