El Cancionero De Romances (Amberes: Martín Nucio, 1550) De La Hispanic Society of America: Confluencia De Prácticas Impresas Y Manuscritas

The fly-leaves of the Cancionero de romances (Antwerp: Martin Nucio, 1550), held in the Hispanic Society of America, were inscribed with poetic marginalia. Practices from manuscript culture, adopted by the printing press, facilitated the conversion of the volume into a space of collaboration among authors, printers, readers, bookbinders, and, perhaps, also forgers. This collaboration and the volume's complex history speak to the ways of reading of a person who was very different from the majority of Nucio's typical readers.

En las guardas del Cancionero de romances (Amberes: Martín Nucio, 1550) de la Hispanic Society of America figuran anotaciones marginales poéticas. Prácticas de la cultura manuscrita, adoptadas por la imprenta, facilitaron que el ejemplar se convirtiera en un espacio para la colaboración de autores, impresores, lectores, encuadernadores y, tal vez, falsificadores. Esta colaboración y la compleja historia del volumen nos hablan de alguien muy distinto al público al cual mayoritariamente estaba destinado el volumen de Nucio.
