Regular visitors to the Early Theatre online journal site will notice that as of April 2018 we have adopted a sleek, new design. We hope that this reorganization of materials and information will make it easier for our readers to locate content and for contributors to manage their submissions. Please send us feedback by writing to earlytheatre@mcmaster.ca or through our Twitter account (@early_theatre) or Facebook page (@earlytheatre).

This issue features a range of articles on medieval and early modern drama and performance, together with reviews of important new books in the field published since 2015. In 21.2 (December 2018), readers can look forward to an Issues in Review section organized by David Dean (Carleton University) on the history of early modern witchcraft and The Witch of Edmonton; we anticipate that 21.2 will also feature a review essay about reed Online, a project that will bring research from the Records of Early English Drama into a fully digital environment. Discussion of this new initiative should be of interest to scholars who have long treasured big, red reed volumes as well as to those who have not yet begun to consult reed documents as part of their research into medieval and early modern drama.

As we enter our third decade of publication, we look forward to continuing to introduce our readers to new arguments, research, and resources related to early theatre on the latest online platforms and in formats yet to be invented.
