Correction for Curdella Forbes, “Bodies of Horror in Marlon James’s The Book of Night Women and Clovis Brown’s Cartoons,” Small Axe, no. 54 (November 2017): 1–16.

The last two sentences of the first paragraph of page 12 of this article should read, "The church unwittingly participates in its disruption initiated by the Jamaican woman's 'man tiefery' decried in figure 1. As a moral crime, man tiefery, which the customs agents allegedly accused Myrie of coming to Barbados to perpetrate, ruptures (threatens with dissolution) the CARICOM alliance, signified in the waste spaces of sea between the two countries and the precarious island-edge on which the fulminating Barbadian woman is marooned." These sentences have been corrected in the online versions of the article. [End Page 194]
