In Memoriam: Eric Matthews

The AAPP and INPP communities lost a treasured senior member on Dec. 16, 2017 with the death of Eric Matthews, Emeritus Professor of Philosophy at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. His pioneering work reflected his interest in phenomenology and modern French philosophy and explored questions of personal identity, embodied subjectivity, and the relevance of moral vision to conceptions of mental disorder. He was a dedicated scholar and a generous, engaging colleague. We are grateful for his lasting contribution to our field.
