Notes on Contributors CLARA THOMAS, who last year published books on Edgar Ryerson and Margaret Laurence, is a member of York University's Department of English. LEVERETT SMITH teaches at Alliance College, in northwestern Pennsylvania. GEORGE SPANGLER, who has published other articles dealing with American literature at the turn of the century, teaches at the California State College in Fullerton. HAROLD JAFFE, author of other articles dealing with the Bucke-Whitman connection, is a member of the faculty of Long Island University. JAMES KRAFT, a member of Wesleyan University's Department of English, is teaching this term at Universite Laval.
