Jeff Broadwater is director of the John C. Stennis Oral History Project and assistant professor of history at Mississippi State University. His dissertation, “The Search for Security: Dwight D. Eisenhower and Anti-Communism in America, 1952–1961,” will be published by the University of North Carolina Press. He is working on a biography of Adlai Stevenson.
Dennis Duffy is professor of English at the University of Toronto (Innis College). His Introducing John Richardson’s “Wacousta” is appearing soon (ECW Press), and he is at work on A World Under Sentence: John Richardson’s Upper-Canadian Frontier.
John N. Ingham is professor of history at the University of Toronto. His Making Iron and Steel has just been published by Ohio State University Press, and he is completing a monograph on African-American business leadership and protest in the South, 1850–1920.
Trevor McNeely teaches English literature at Brandon University. His most recent publications are essays on Othello and Nabokov’s Lolita. Work in progress includes a study of Shakespeare and sixteenth-century rhetoric.
Linda Munk is assistant professor at the University of Toronto. She has published essays on Dickinson, Frost and O’Connor, and will soon publish essays on Jonathan Edwards and on Biblical poetics. She is working on The Trivial Sublime: Theology and American Poetics for Macmillan.
Nelson Ouellet est étudiant au doctorat au départment d’histoire de l’Université de Montréal où il prépare une thèse sur la migration des Noirs américains à Gary, Indiana. Il y travaille également à titre d’assistant de recherche et d’auxiliaire d’enseignement. Il a aussi collaboré régulièrement à la revue Vizimage et fait partie du comité de rédaction des Cahiers d’Histoire lesquels prévoient publier certains de ses efforts de chercheur.
Rebecca Raglon is assistant professor in the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University.
Bruce Tucker is associate professor of history at the University of Windsor and was recently appointed as an editor of The Canadian Review of American Studies. He is working on a study of the Appalachian ethnic movement in Cincinnati. His most recent publication (with Zane L. Miller) is “The Revolt Against Cultural Determinism and the Meaning of Community Action: A View From Cincinnati,” in Prospects.
