Abstract:

This article focuses on the origins and history of Third Woman journal and of Third Woman Press, its content, impact, and early collaborators, with a final look to its new future. Through the experience and perspective of scholarly generations of involvement, the article is structured as a testimonio, each author lending her voice to create a chronology and a genealogy, approaching this history through their own embodied knowledge that emanates from their engagement with Third Woman Press and Third Woman, the journal.
