Topics to be explored include: social, environmental and economic/ demographic context for innovation; technology as a rural community development tool; small business development and entrepreneurship; rural community strategic planning; public and private partnerships for rural community development; sustainable development and rural communities ; human resource development and rural community development ; the role of senior levels of government; innovative rural housing; leadership training for rural development , innovative rural land management ; servicing rural communities.
