Abstract

English Abstract:

Il Pianoforte (1920–1927) is a music journal published in Turin during the "Roaring Twenties". A discussion of the historical background of the journal appears first, and then the difficult and sometimes ambiguous role of this journal, in a country where Fascism was quickly growing, is clarified. Use of the RIPM database demonstrates how the journal's founder, Guido M. Gatti managed to build, step-by-step, the entire network of collaborators that gave relevance to this journal.
