Jessica M. Brophy is a poet, creative writing teacher, and lover of the sensory world. She provides writing consultation services to professional women at www.beautyfullwriting.com. She has published two poetry chapbooks, The Paper Girl (2016) and Firemark (2018), with Finishing Line Press.

Lara Langer Cohen is an associate professor of English at Swarthmore College. She is the author of The Fabrication of American Literature: Fraudulence and Antebellum Print Culture, and coeditor, with Jordan Alexander Stein, of Early African American Print Culture (both U of Pennsylvania P, 2012). Currently she is working on a study of nineteenth-century undergrounds titled “Before Subculture.”.

Autumn Hayes is an obsessive traveler, educator, and poet. Her poems, essays, and stories have appeared or are forthcoming in 3:AM, The Seattle Review, Teachers & Writers Magazine, Defenestration, Southern Women’s Review, and the microfiction anthology 140 and Counting. She holds an MFA in poetry from Texas State University, where she teaches.

Tiffany N. Hinton is an independent educational consultant in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Geoffrey Lokke is a writer and director. His recent articles are published or forthcoming in TDR: The Drama Review and Adaptation. As a director, his work has been sponsored by the East Central European Center at Columbia University, the Harriman Institute, and the Václav Havel Library Foundation. He lives in the Bronx.

Jonathan Moody is the author of Olympic Butter Gold, winner of the 2014 Cave Canem Northwestern University Press Poetry Prize. He lives in Fresno, Texas, with his wife and son.

Stewart Shaw is a librarian for an urban West Coast public library. He has attended writing conferences in various African nations. His poems have been published in Black Arts Quarterly, Temenos Literary Journal, The Missing Slate, as well as a short story in Mighty Real: An Anthology of African American Same Gender Loving Writing. He is a Cave Canem Poetry Fellow.

Cody C. St. Clair is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of English at Indiana University in Bloomington. They are currently completing a dissertation titled “Homeless Modernisms: Down-and-Out Politics in Early-Twentieth-Century U. S. Literature and Culture.” [End Page 341]
