Anciens Sites Rituels et Théâtraux Action Pédagogique autour du Théâtre Antique d’Arles

Cette présentation donne une brève description de la contribution française au projet Théamon. Le service éducatif des Musées d’Arles a été fondé il y a vingt ans dans le but de permettre une approche vivante et sensible des collections des Musées et du riche patrimoine arlésien aux différents publics, en particulier au public scolaire. L’action décrite offre un exemple concret de la façon par laquelle l’animation peut contribuer à rendre significatif un ancien site aux adolescents.

This short paper gives a brief description of the French contribution to the Theamon project. The Educational service of the Museum of Arles was created 20 years ago with the aim of providing a more vivid approach to the Museum collections and the heritage of Arles. The action described in this paper offers a concrete example how animation may provide a stimulating way to making an ancient site more meaningful to adolescents.
