Archaeological Objects and Mobile Exhibition Units – The Case of Theasis

The paper presents the Greek contribution to the Theamon Project—starting from the concept of bringing museums in closer contact with the public, the Hellenic Ministry of Culture has devised “outreach work” with easily transportable exhibition units. These versatile self-contained units can be adapted to any space, however limited. They contain a wealth of material that provides pedagogical tools which may be exploited at various levels, in an interactive manner.
