In lieu of an abstract, here is a brief excerpt of the content:

v Editors’ Introduction and Acknowledgements Greetings and welcome to Research in Outdoor Education Volume 10. The articles included in this volume were all presented at the Tenth Biennial Coalition for Education in the Outdoors Research Symposium. All papers submitted for publication were reviewed by a collection of scholars in the field of outdoor education. The accepted and presented here represent a variety of methods and theoretical frameworks. Each article begins with an abstract and list of keywords. As in the past, complete contact information for the lead author is included following each reference section so that readers can follow-up directly with the author regarding any questions. Finally, many heartfelt thanks are extended to the people who have supported and made this publication possible. First and foremost, the authors, including seasoned scholars, experienced professionals and upcoming graduate students. Without their hard work, dedication, and commitment, Research in Outdoor Education would not exist. Special thanks to our colleague Andy Young at SUNY Cortland for his tireless effort toward making the symposium and this publication a success. The Research Committee continues to be invaluable in providing direction and leadership for both the symposium and the resulting publication. We also wish to thank the Associate Editors and reviewers who graciously gave of their time and expertise to provide quality feedback to authors. For anyone whom we have overlooked, please accept our sincere apologies and sincere thanks. Note: Copies of the previous nine volumes are still available from the Coalition for Education in the Outdoors. Contact http://www.outdooredcoalition.org ...
