Musikbibliotheken in Lettland

German Abstract:

In welcher Situation befinden sich Musikbibliotheken und Musiksammlungen in Lettland? Welche Sammlungen findet man dort? Was wird erworben und auf welche besonders wertvollen Exemplare darf man sich freuen? In diesem Artikel finden Sie Antworten auf all diese Fragen. Zunächst gibt es einen Überblick über die Musikschulen, Orchester und Bibliotheken, in denen Musikalien gesammelt und aufbewahrt werden. Die größten Musiksammlungen Lettlands befinden sich in der National bibliothek und in der Musikbibliothek der Jāzeps-Vītols-Musikakademie. Im Einzelnen gehen wir auf die Noten- und Musikliteraturbestände sowie die Raritäten der Nationalbibliothek ein. Es folgt ein kleiner Einblick in die Geschichte der professionellen Musik in Lettland. Dieser Artikel bietet Ihnen Informationen zur Vorbereitung auf die Rigaer IAML-Konferenz im Juni 2017.

English Abstract:

What is the situation of music libraries and music collections in Latvia? What collections do you find there? What is acquired and what particularly valuable items await you there? We will find an answer to all these questions in this article. First, there is an overview of the music schools, orchestras, and libraries in which music are collected and kept. In more detail, we will take a look at the music library in the National Library and the Music Library of the Jāzeps Vītols Music Academy, where you will find the largest music collections in Latvia. We will detail the music scores as well as the rarities of the National Library. The following is a brief insight into the musical history of professional music in Latvia. This article provides you with information regarding the Riga IAML conference in June 2017.

Cet article propose de répondre aux questions relatives à la situation des bibliothèques musicales en Lettonie ainsi qu'aux spécificités de leurs collections.

Premièrement, cet article expose une vue d'ensemble des écoles de musique, des orchestres et des bibliothèques contenant des documents musicaux. L'article explore ensuite plus précisément le département de musique de la bibliothèque nationale ainsi que de l'Académie de musique Jāzeps Vītols, qui représentent les collections les plus importantes du pays. Les partitions de musique et les documents les plus précieux de la bibliothèque nationale y sont détaillés. Ce qui suit donne un aperçu de l'histoire de la musique du monde professionnel en Lettonie. L'ensemble permet de fixer un contexte au congrès qui aura lieu à Riga en juin 2017.
