Contributors WILLIAM E. GRUBER is Assistant Professor of English at Emory University. His interests are chiefly modem drama and dramatic theory, and he has published articles in Genre, Victorian Poetry, College English, and other journals. JOHN W. VELZ, Professor of English at the University of Texas, Austin, is the author of numerous articles on medieval and Tudor drama. His books include Shakespeare and the Classical Tradition, and he has edited Julius Caesar in the MLA Variorum Shakespeare series. JOSEPH J. MOLESKI is a teacher, actor, director, musician, and critic. He is currently a vice president and creative di­ rector of an advertising agency and is working on books on Eugene O’Neill and Henry James. JAMES M. GIBSON, Associate Professor of English at Hough­ ton College, has published articles in Tristania and the Library Chronicle and is at work on a biography of Horace Howard Furness and history of the New Variorum Shakesspeare . The musical illustrations for his paper were prepared by Elizabeth Gibson. CAROL STRONGEST is Assistant Professor of English at Oberlin College where she teaches modem drama, Shake­ speare, and fiction.
