Contributors ALBERT WERTHEIM has published previously in the areas of Shakespearean, Renaissance, and Restoration drama. An associate professor of English at Indiana University, he will serve as his university’s Director of Overseas Study Program in Germany during the 1974-75 academic year. JAMES COAKLEY teaches and directs plays at Northwestern University where he is Assistant Professor of Dramatic Pro­ duction. His work has appeared in Comparative Drama, Drama Critique, and Educational Theatre Journal. THOMAS B. STROUP is the author of Microcosmos: The Shape of the Elizabethan Play and Religious Rite and Cere­ mony in Milton’s Poetry, as well as of numerous essays on English Renaissance drama. He is Professor of English at the University of Kentucky. WILLY BRANDT is Chancellor of West Germany. The trans­ lator of Brandt’s address is WALTER S. G. KOHN, Profes­ sor of Political Science at Illinois State University. ANNE PAOLUCCI is University Research Professor at St. John’s University and is the editor of Review of National Literatures.
