James M. Brandt is Professor of Historical Theology and Director of Contextual Education at Saint Paul School of Theology in Leawood, KS. He is the author of All Things New, a study of Schleiermacher's Christian Ethics, the translator of selections from the Christian Ethics, and author of numerous articles on a wide variety of topics in theology and ministry. Dr. Brandt is an ordained minister in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and longtime teacher for the Souljourners program for spiritual direction in Atchison, KS.

Mark S. Burrows is Professor of historical theology at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences in Bochum, Germany. His research interests focus on mystical theology and the intersections of theology, spirituality, and the arts. He recently edited Poetic Revelations (Routledge, 2017), Breaking the Silence (Peter Lang, 2016), and The Paraclete Poetry Anthology (Paraclete, 2017); a forthcoming book of his poems, The Chance of Home, will appear in 2017.

Robert Cording teaches on the faculty of the low-residency MFA at Seattle Pacific University after retiring from teaching English and creative writing at the College of the Holy Cross.
