Abstract

This poem is from my book Take Two: Film Studies, due to be published by Omnidawn in the fall of 2017. It is a series of filmic scenes about pairs (not always humans) heading toward trouble, disaster or death. In this piece, Sancho Panza, from the novel Don Quixote, and his donkey Dapple are the duo who have tumbled into a deep crater.
