Abstract
Natality uncovers remnants of Hagar and Sarai’s voices in the news, video-game culture, pre-Christian folklore, medieval, Renaissance and contemporary art, etc.. Hagar and Sarai’s voices coalesce, come undone, lay side by side, stain, mar, beautify, knot, and unknot. And three more voices emerge: Malak, Envy, and the Moon.
