Becoming Successful As an International Teaching Assistant

This paper reports the results of a multicase study examining the process by which international teaching assistants (ITAs) become successful undergraduate instructors. Key to that process is their ability to continually redefine personal goals to make them increasingly compatible with department-imposed conditions.
