Abstract

In this review of five books pertaining to facets of multiculturalism, the author suggests the scholarly responsibility of maintaining and advancing an understanding of key issues in higher education, including multiculturalism. The paper outlines different views of such issues as regulating hate speech, defining sexual and racial identity, and what “liberatory pedagogy” might mean.
