Abstract

This paper reports on the development and use of a multiattribute evaluation model for assisting resource reallocation decisions in a large college of education. The authors identify multiple criteria with measurable attributes, procedures for use, and software templates, along with data from a recent cycle of reviews. Final estimates on weighted utility values for each of the program reallocation requests (largely targeted on faculty line items) are ranked and illustrated for the decision maker.
