The Relationship between Eastern Ecoaesthetics and Western Environmental Aesthetics

I address the question of the relationship between Eastern ecoaesthetics and Western environmental aesthetics by considering the role given to ecological knowledge in aesthetic appreciation of environments by traditional and contemporary Western environmental aesthetics, drawing parallels to the central role granted to ecological knowledge in aesthetic experience of environments by current Chinese ecoaesthetics.
