Abstract:
In the article, I raise two issues for Katsafanas’s “Nietzschean constitutivism.” First, I question the claim that constitutivism is the best way to make sense of an assortment of metaethical views Nietzsche advocates; in the process, I also question the claim that “Nietzschean constitutivism” is actually a form of constitutivism. Second, I challenge the claim that power may plausibly be understood as a “constitutive aim” of action.
