EDITORIAL ANNOUNCEMENT Since the year 1974 marks the seventh centenary of the death of St. Thomas Aquinas, the Editors of THE THoMIST are pleased to announce that the four issues of 1974 will feature articles written for this volume by distinguished American and European scholars honoring St. Thomas and the contributions he has made to contemporary thought. In so doing, the Editors are confident that this centenary volume of the journal named in honor of the Common Doctor will bring to the awareness of a disturbed world, and one divided over profound speculative issues in philosophy and theology, the enduring value and rich relevance of the heritage of Aquinas.
