Abstract
This paper inspects three versions of the Jingming zongjiao lu 淨明宗教錄 (Record of the Lineage and Teachings of [the School of] Purity and Brightness). It introduces the many different scriptures contained in this compendium and explores its relationships to the Ming-dynasty Daozang 道藏 (Daoist Canon) to offer a deeper understanding of the key sources of this school in the Ming and Qing dynasties.
