Abstract
Since the 1950s, social migration from rural Denmark toward its urban areas has resulted in abandoned villages. This project outlines the transformation of an abandoned building prototyped at full scale in a rural village setting. This particular transformation was implemented as an attempt to catalyze an exchange of memories of the building and the place as an alternative to demolition.
