Abstract

Personal reflections on growing up in the sexist 1960s. Discusses the New Jersey Project, which sought to develop curriculum that included women, people of color, LGBTQ people, and others traditionally left out. Baer taught at Gloucester County College and participated in The New Jersey Project. She proposed that the organization should have a journal, and was chosen as editor of Transformations. Discusses process of developing the journal from the ground up.
