Jacqui Larsen

Jacqui Larsen, a painter and mixed-media artist, exhibits widely. She has received a number of grants and awards, including two Utah Visual Arts Fellowships (1996 and 2006), and a Lieutenant Governor’s Award. Her work was selected to represent Utah in “The De-Constructed West,” a four-state fellowship exhibition at the Millennium Arts Center in Washington, D.C. Her work has also appeared in many literary journals, including Gettysburg Review, Rattle, Tampa Review, and Folio, as well as on the covers of three University of Tampa poetry collections by her husband, Lance Larsen, poet laureate of Utah. Lance and Jacqui recently collaborated on “Three-Mile Radius,” an art show featuring pieces that combine paint and poetry, including the two paintings reproduced in this issue.
