“Description of a Field”: A speaker attempts to observe a field and claims to see nothing but clichés. In actuality, she subliminally notices things about her own personality, life and worldview.
“Live from the Scene”: A speaker watches through a diner window as police search a manure lagoon for a woman’s body. Meanwhile, fellow patrons try not to confront reality.
