The U.S. Catholic China Bureau’s biennial national conference was held October 9–11, 2015, in Burlingame, California. This issue’s assembled articles represent the contributions of the scholars who shared their research at the conference. We are grateful to Robert E. Carbonneau, C.P., Executive Director of the U.S. Catholic China Bureau, Berkeley, California, for helping to recruit and review these contributions.
