Distinguished Dutch conductor, organist, harpsichordist, and continuo player Ton Koopman describes his experiences over decades of collecting old music books, prints and engravings, musicians’ portraits, and other objects. The collection currently comprises about 10,000 books published before 1800, and nearly 5,000 engravings.
