Abstract
The article explores Eliyahou Zini’s critique of Ovadia Yosef’s vision of Sephardic identity. Zini’s critique reflects the variety of opinions within the Sephardic world on this topic and endeavors to undermine the socially constructed ethnic divides in Israel.
