ELECTRONICS IS NOT THE PERSONIFICATION OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY, but only an interpreter accompanying us on our first journeys into unknown virtual territory. Analog media are physical, digital systems are conceptual, and electronics is just the first technology that connected the two systematically. After introducing us to computable universes, it is now enlisting other guides to take us there. Technology will become increasingly transparent as we develop the interrelationships between mimesis and mathematics first heralded by electronic computers.
