KAOS at Ground Zero: Video, Teleconferencing and Community Networks

The author describes his experiences teaching video production to young people in South Central Los Angeles, which has reinforced their sense of identity and provided access to technology previously outside their realm. The community center started by the author in South Central Los Angeles, California, has forged connections with other centers in the country and the world by teleconferencing with videophones.
