The Application of Lasers to Compose Pictures: The Method of Superpositioning

‘Painting with light’, through the use of lasers as monochromatic, coherent light sources, has become a reality for artistic expression in this century. This paper describes the authors’ attempts to utilize the possibilities of laser art, while they report on their experiences with various applications.
