The article discusses the morphological, semantic, and syntactic (governability and substitutability) parameters according to which the inner object can be defined and characterized in Modern Hebrew. In addition, it describes the various types of accompanying modifiers of inner objects in Modern Hebrew. This description might help in distinguishing between the inner object and other complements in the sentence. Finally, the article addresses the syntactic role of the inner object.
