Printed Matter-Books by Artists Founded 1 1 years ago by a group of book artists, Printed Matter is an organization that reviews and assists in the publication and sale of book-art, i.e. books that are art in themselves. Printed Matter currently carries over 3,000 titles by over 2,500 artists. As a service to book-artists, the organization maintains a resource file for residencies in the field of book-art, funding opportunities, names and addresses of publishers of book-art, and competitions.
