Abstract

The author describes his method for making records on photographic paper of light images that are produced by reflection from polished surfaces without the use of a camera. He calls these artworks reflectographs, which may be in black and white or in color. He gives a short history of the use by photographers of the principle involved in the method and mentions its application in kinetic art. Examples of his reflectographs are shown in the article.
