An exhibition of ‘electrosculptures’ by Ken Gray was held at the New Library Building, Brirnel University, Middlesex, England, from 18 Jan.-7 Feb. 1974. Each of Gray’s ‘electrosculptures ’ combines visual and behavioural features into an integrated unit that responds to external stimuli and produces behavioural patterns. The Serpentine Gallery, London, England, is planning an exhibition that will show examples of video work from Britain and artists’ video projects in the U S A . As part of the exhibition a colour video studio in which students andschoolchildren may participate is planned. Eight films, all produced by computer, were shown at the Institute of Contemporary Art recently in a programme called ‘Computer Animation’. The films consisted of computermade images with an intense visual rhythm, accompanied by a variety of soundtracks including electronic music. All the films were made by members of the Whitney family.
