The provisional title 'Electric Circus' is indicative of an attitude that art, action, excitement and profundity can readily mix. The exhibition will be concerned with the interaction between the spectator and the environment either directly or indirectly. However, some programmed light sculptures and light projection techniques that make use of movement may also be included, since they represent part ofthe continuity ofexperience in such an environment. Box 354, Delft, The Netherlands. 1.8-The U.S. Trade Centre, London held an exhibition, covering the complete cycle of plastics production and manipulation, from 21-25 October 1970 at 57 St. James's Street, London S.W.l, England. Many technical experts were on hand to advise on applications of the materials and the machines. 1.9-Duringthe running ofa plastics exhibition at London's Design Centre in the Autumn of 1970, The Plastics Institute sponsored five seminars that were of value to anyone interested in the manipulation and design possibilities of plastic materials.
