Abstracts 1Resumes 759 CONTRIBUTORS RIANNE MAHON is a professor in the School of Public Administration and the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Carleton University. She has published articles on child care politics in Canada and Sweden and is currently working on a volume (co-edited with Sonya Michel) looking at welfare state restructuring in several OECD countries, using child care as the lens. IAN MCKAY is professor ofhistory at Queen's University. His current project is a history ofthe Public Archives ofNova Scotia. WENDIE NELSON teaches Canadian and American history at Langara College in Vancouver. ROBERT WRIGHT is the author ofA World Mission: Canadian Protestantism and the Questfor a New World Order, 1918-1939 (1991) and Hip and Trivial: Youth Culture, Book Publishing and the Greying ofCanadian Nationalism (2ooo).
