Preservation in a Changing Climate: Time to Pick Up the Tab

This article looks at the two approaches to addressing global climate change--mitigation and adaptation--and encourages preservationists to start thinking about short- and long-term adaptation measures for cultural resources. The author notes that the preservation movement will need to ensure that heritage resouces are included in efforts to adapt to the unavoidable impacts of climate change.
