ELISHEVA CARLEBACH (ec607@columbia.edu) is Salo W. Baron Professor of Jewish History, Culture, and Society at Columbia University. She is the author of The Pursuit of Heresy: Moses Hagiz and the Sabbatian Controversies (1990), Divided Souls: Converts from Judaism in Germany, 1500–1750 (2001), and Palaces of Time: Jewish Calendar and Culture in Early Modern Europe (2011).

EVE KRAKOWSKI (ek2885@columbia.edu) is the Stanley A. and Barbara B. Rabin Postdoctoral Fellow in the Institute for Israel and Jewish Studies and the Department of History at Columbia University. She is a social historian of the medieval Islamic Middle East, focusing on Jewish populations in Fatimid and Ayyubid Egypt and Syria.

PAWEŁ MACIEJKO (pawel.maciejko@mail.huji.ac.il) teaches in the Department of Jewish Thought at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His most recent publication is an edition of Jonathan Eibeschütz’s Vaavo ha-yom el ha-’ayin (And I Came This Day unto the Fountain, 2014).

JESSICA M. MARGLIN (marglin@usc.edu) is the Ruth Ziegler Early Career Chair in Jewish Studies and assistant professor in the School of Religion at the University of Southern California. She is currently completing a manuscript on Jews in the Moroccan legal system during the nineteenth century.

MARINA RUSTOW (mrustow@jhu.edu) is the Charlotte Bloomberg Associate Professor in the Humanities at The Johns Hopkins University. Her research focuses on documentary sources, especially from the Cairo Geniza. She is the author of Heresy and the Politics of Community: The Jews of the Fatimid Caliphate (2008).

ORI YEHUDAI (oriyehud@gmail.com) is a Schusterman-Taub Postdoctoral Fellow at the Taub Center for Israel Studies at New York University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago with a dissertation on Jewish emigration from Palestine and Israel between 1945 and 1960.
