This writing is made up of a short exposition on the undersung common roadside green, burdock, culminating in an abridged ode composed of thirty-three of the plant’s myriad names. This piece was inspired by Eric Moschopedis and Mia Rushton, Vanessa Waters, and Leah Garfield-Wright, who have opened my sensorium to the bounty of weeds.
