The film adaptation of Lerner and Loewe’s Camelot reinserts sex into the musicalized legend. This article examines key scenes, including musical numbers, that focus on the relationships between the two primary (and overlapping) couples. The film’s restrained but present depiction of sexuality further reflects important changes in the film industry.
